Judicial Institute
This intensive two-day seminar, the institute’s signature event, is designed to provide practical knowledge to help legal professionals from a variety of backgrounds become judges. Taught by sitting judges, minority bar association judicial evaluation committee members and appointing authorities, topics covered include:
Serving as a judge
Judicial ethics
Judicial appointment process
Preparing for a judicial campaign
Participating fellows will be assigned judicial mentors, who will provide feedback, guidance and support on their path to the judiciary throughout the year.
